This post comes very late on New Year's Day. I have a new foster puppy that we are welcoming into our home with lots of time and attention. Posts may be light until a forever home can be found for her. I promise to share her picture soon!

Happy New Year!

Hello {Vintage} Deer

Just time for a quick post to share this vintage Christmas card. I have a thing for vintage deer; images or ceramic figurines, they all find a way to my heart and home.  Enjoy!

Cute Angel Vintage Christmas Card

I've decided to share my Christmas card collection with you year round... I have too many to save just for the season, and I know many of you begin your holiday crafting early.

Isn't this the sweetest little vintage Christmas card? It is one of my favorites from my collection. The tree is sprinkled with glitter--hopefully the image shows some of that detail. This image is high resolution so you can use it in your craft projects.

Inside message: A little note to wish you Merry Christmas

Marked: by Norcross of course, SP114, New York

Image provided for your personal, non-commercial use only.

Bluebirds and Angels on a Vintage Mother's Day Card

Here's another sweet vintage Mother's Day card images to share for your crafting projects. This one features angels and bluebirds... can't get any better than that!

The bluebird graphic on the inside of the card is also beautiful. I'm including the Mother's Day verse as well. Wishing you and yours a wonderful Mother's Day!

Vintage Mother's Day Card

Here's a sweet vintage children's mother's day card illustrated with a kitten, duck and bear. That's a whole lot of cute in one card!

This one comes to you straight from an Iowa City antique shop, now in my collection of vintage cards. It has  a few more images besides the one on the front. A bear serenading a little duck with a violin adorns the inside cover.

The Mother's Day message printed on the inside of the card is pretty sweet as well. They don't write them like this anymore!

And if that's not enough, there's one more illustration. A cheerful rooster appears on the back.

Enjoy!

Vintage Valentines {Puppies}

Vintage Valentines featuring puppies are some of my favorites. I wanted to share some of the cards in my collection today with you for your personal and craft use.

Aren't they sweet? Here's the greetings from the inside of the cards in case you'd like to use those as well.

This comes to say

you're awful nice

and then to tell you, too.

it would be

awful nice to have

a Valentine

like you!

***

This clever, little puppy has

A wish he won't "cur'Tail;"

He hopes you'll

be my Valentine

Forever, without fail.

***

You both are

extra nice and sweet

in everything you do,

and that's just why

this Valentine

is meant for both of you.

You're Sweet {I've Been Paper Crafting}

Just a tiny post between the holidays. Taking some time off to enjoy my girls being home from college for semester break. I received some cute gifts from co-workers and spent last evening crafting up some cute little thank you cards. I bet you can guess which one is my favorite...

Yep... my favorite is the vintage snowman card! I don't take the time often enough to craft these cards and I so enjoy it. Hope the holidays have given you some time to do what you love!

Angels Singing Carols in Christmas Stockings {Yep}

I never get tired of looking at vintage Christmas cards. The colors are so rich,  the illustrations are adorable and the subject matter always amuses me.

For instance, this card featuring angels in Christmas stockings, singing carols with mittens on. Too cute!  This is a high-res image so you may use it for your non-commercial personal use in crafts, etc... Enjoy!

Vintage Christmas Card {Just for Girls}

Do you ever feel like the holidays are one mad dash to get everything done? Wouldn't it be grand to have your own sweet sleigh {with a swan neck ornament on the hood}to help you get all your holiday list items done?

This card makes me giggle. The driver is definitely determined! Here's another one of my vintage greeting card collection for you to enjoy (personal use only, please).

If any of you know Janet... she certainly has excellent taste in greeting cards!

Sweet Vintage Christmas Cards

I have two vintage Christmas Cards to share with you in this post. I haven't begun getting out the Christmas decorations, but my collection of vintage cards is always handy and the first thing I look through for some seasonal inspiration.

I have scanned these at 300 dpi, so they should be a good quality to use in your craft projects. It's always fun to share my collection for your personal use. You can find other cards I've shared in previous posts by clicking on the label links at the end of the post..

They both are beautiful cards and the snowman and angel card is over the top cute! I like the bell card too, it will work great for making tags and definitely is ready for you to add a bit of glitter!

Enjoy!

Finding Deer {Vintage Cards}

I was looking through my collection of vintage cards and realized there are definitely a few themes. The top categories seem to be deer, puppies and just about anything Christmas. There are many others, but these are the largest collections.

I am going to try and take some time to scan more of them to share with you in the weeks ahead.  Here's one of the deer cards I think you'll like. How about that sweet little bird holding the card as a bonus?

Enjoy! As always, these are posted for your personal use in craft projects and are not to be redistributed on CDs or websites for commercial purposes.

Vintage Deer Illustrations {for you}

Some of my favorite vintage illustration subjects are deer. I have three sweet cards to share with you from my collection. They are all high resolution. The watermark is out of the way enough so that you may use these for your craft projects. This first one is so bright and the little bird is an added bonus!

The next one is a Christmas card. The original features a bit of glitter on the pine tree {love glitter}.

The last one is a French New Year's card. The translation for the greeting is Happy New Year.

In a stack of cards at the flea market or a tag sale, those with a cute deer on them always make it into my "buy" pile.

Enjoy!
