I read somewhere that the "golden hours" for photography happen the first 3 hours after dawn, and then again straddling dusk. The light is indirect and the harsh shadows of the sun are nowhere to be seen. Especially today, it's rather foggy. The morning dew is still here on the rose leaves (love it).
I think these buds are some of my last for the season. I really came outside to shoot some photos of more jars. Here's a few more I picked up at the flea market and a Goodwill store near Iowa City. Previous home to puppy treats and candy, they've emerged from the dishwasher clean and sparkling, ready for their next assignment.
