This little golden bundle arrived the day after Christmas. She is 4 months old and the photo above shows you the speed she travels at.... fast!
Her name is Brooklyn and she is quite a sweet puppy. Except when it comes to my 2 year-old golden, Marley. He is a saint, putting up with her chasing, biting and climbing.

The sweetest moment is at the end of the day, when she is tired and happy to cuddle. She'll make someone a great family dog. In the meantime, we'll care for her, begin her training and get her ready for her forever home!

Oh she is adorable!! BUT I am sure alot of work!
ReplyDeleteGod Bless you for taking in foster dogs.....she is adorable!
ReplyDeleteKudos to you for being able to foster. I would never be able to do that. Actually, I did unoffically try once. My grandmother's dog had puppies, but due to some complications they had to be separated from her 2 weeks later.
ReplyDeleteWhen my grandmother couldn't care for mom and puppies, she asked me to bring the puppies home. My brother was supposed to take them, but as soon as I saw them, I said he could only have one. For the next 6 weeks, my Mom and I fed them around the clock and took care of them.....
....and at that point we told my brother to get a dog at the pound. We took in my grandmother's poodle years later after she died and we also have a 3 year old chihuahua. That's how we became that insane family with the 4 dogs.
I hope Brooklyn finds herself a good home!
Adorable... How sweet your Marly is to but up with the biting... looks like they're having fun though...
ReplyDeleteHow fun! How busy!
ReplyDeleteDogs enrich our lives so much!

ReplyDeleteNo dog - no fun ! ! !
she is beautiful! wish i could take her...but we live all the way down in alabama...hope she finds a wonderful forever home!
ReplyDeleteWhat a darling! Have fun with Brooklyn!
ReplyDeleteWhat a precious looking girl! Oh...you've got your hands full...but aren't they a joy?
ReplyDeleteThat is so wonderful of you to be a foster mom. I bet it's hard to let them go when the time comes. We had a Golden puppy for one day and we had to take her back to the breeder because she was sick...we all cried. At the time I was not aware of all the dog rescues that there are (I feel pretty dumb for that). I would defiantly rescue one next time.
