The excitement of visiting the nurseries for new varieties of roses and geraniums, relaxing nights on the patio or deck with friends around the fire; these are the things I am yearning for in the middle of February.

At least the days are getting longer and there is a 40 degree day here and there to give me hope. In the meantime, I'll be browsing through my Pinterest boards for garden ideas and projects. That blue pot tutorial above is definitely calling my name.
There is hope, spring is coming!

Gorgeous pictures and blog:) I will glady swap my sticky summer for your snow shovelling though!:)
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind words!
DeleteSad but true... I would take a (very) short dose of sticky summer about now.

So inspiring pictures. It's freezing every night here in Brittany which is quite unusual, so I have to wait for warmer days to garden...
ReplyDeleteAt least we have plenty of time to plan our plantings--
DeleteI love that chair with the greenery on it, but wouldn't you hate to mess up a fabulous chair like that ? I would LOL
ReplyDeleteYou know we are to have an early spring, and our forecast is to have our first 6 inches of snow tomorrow Feb 21st also freezing rain which is horrible for traveling to work early mornings
I like snow so guess I will enjoy tomorrow LOL
I love the chair too, but I have seen chairs missing seats, etc.. and if I could find one like this for cheap I would definitely consider this planter idea. I'll have to keep my eyes open at the flea markets.
DeleteI love anything vintage too. I love French decor and gardening. I don't know where you live, but I am sure spring will arrive at some point. This week at my house it should reach the upper 80's and I think it will feel like most people's summer. I have to get out and plant! That chair you posted is to die for. Sure have enjoyed my visit here.
